Dr.John Lawton
I grew up in Grand Island NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1994 with a B.S. in Veterinary Science. I earned my D.V.M. from Kansas State University in 1998. I am Certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and also Veterinary Chiropractic. I enjoy general mixed animal practice and the challenges of equine lameness. My wife, Lorna and I have 3 kids Abby, Kiley and Cort. We spend most of our free time following our kids as they enjoy riding and rodeoing.

Dr.Jared Walahoski
I am a native of Elyria, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1998 with a B.S in Animal Science. I received my D.V.M. from Kansas State University in 2002. My wife, Kristine, and I have three sons, Spencer, Parker and Grant, and two daughters, Paige and Meg. My practice interests include feedlot and cow/calf health and management, and companion animal wellness. I enjoy being outdoors and watching the Huskers.

Dr.Lance Kizer
I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and my DVM degree from Kansas State in 1994. My practice interests include bovine embryo transfer and cow/calf production medicine. My wife Sue and I have 3 kids, Logan, Taylor and Braden.

Dr.Eliot Linsenmeyer
I hail from Lincoln, NE and graduated from Kansas State University in 2010. Upon graduation, I practiced at a predominantly cow-calf practice in Steele, North Dakota. I joined OVS to be closer to family and to practice more feedlot medicine. My wife, Christa, and I have two sons, Levi and Caleb.

Dr.Jessica Robb
I hail from McCook, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska with my undergrad and from Iowa State University with my DVM. Upon graduation, I practiced at a predominantly cow-calf practice in Chinook, MT. I joined OVS to be closer to family and to practice in a true mixed animal practice.

Dr.Austin Pierce
I grew up in the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller area and graduated from SEM. I received my DVM from Iowa State in May of 2021. I started at OVS in June 2021. I enjoy all aspects of a mixed animal practice and in my spare time love to travel and be outside with my wife.

Scott Hinrichs
I grew up in Kearney, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a B.S. in Business Management in 2005. I earned my M.B.A. in 2007 from the University of Nebraska. My wife Crystal and I have two daughters, Avery and Leighton. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and playing many different sports.

Bryce Williams
I grew up in Eddyville, NE and graduated in 1991 from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in the Ag Honors program emphasizing biology, finance and genetics. I've worked in feed sales and nutrition management for the last 9 years and in farming, feedlot, cow-calf and livestock marketing with my father and brother for 25 years. My wife, Diana and I have a daughter, Sage and son, Tennyson that are active in 4-h, FFA and high school activities at S-E-M.

Shana Zerr
I grew up and went to school in Pierce, Nebraska. Upon high school graduation, I ventured to the tiny town of Curtis, Nebraska, to attend the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. I graduated from there in 2010 with a Veterinary Technician degree and immediately went to work at a local veterinary clinic. I joined the OVS team as a licensed Vet Tech in December, 2012. I married my husband, Joe Zerr, in 2011. We reside in Overton.

Ed Johnson
I grew up near Butte. I grew up on a cow/calf and farming operation in Loup City, NE. My wife Mary and I have 2 sons, Logan and Ryan. I have been employed at OVS since April 2010.

Brandyn Nichols
I live in Eddyville with my wife, Sara, and our two sons, Karsyn and Kollyn, and our daughter, Keeley. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and riding horses. I started working with Overton Veterinary Services in September of 2011.

Sandy Wright
I am a native of Burwell, NE and graduated from Chadron State College with a B.S, in Business Management and Agri-Business. I earned my Master of Science degree in Organizational Management which was also from Chadron State. I am married to George and we have 7 children and 11 grandchildren. I join the OVS team in April 2020.

Kendra Marxsen
I grew up in Schulyer, NE and graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture with a Veterinary Technician degree in 2019. I now reside in Eddyville, NE with my boyfriend Peyton Grote. I joined the OVS team in July of 2020. In my spare time I enjoy training and trialing stockdogs, especially my pride and job, Tank.

Emily Netherton
I grew up on my family's ranch outside of Lexington and have moved back with my husband, Roman. I graduated with a Veterinary Technician degree from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in May of 2017 and was hired on full time at OVS as a Licensed Vet Tech shortly after. I love processing cattle at the feedlots, working baby calves, and helping with horses at the clinic. In my spare time I love riding with my horses and spending time with my husband!

Sara Nichols
I grew up North of Bartley, NE and graduated from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2011 with my Veterinary Technician degree. I live in Eddyville with my husband Brandyn and our three children, Karsyn, Kollyn, and Keeley. In our 'free time' we run our mixed animal small livestock operation. I joined the OVS team in April 2019.

My name is Abby Klein Fielder. I was raised in Kearney, NE and graduated from Kearney High in 2003. In 2009 I attended grooming school in Loveland, CO. I have spent 6 years at OVS! I have 3 children and love life.

Makayla Linnenmeyer
I grew up on my family's ranch/farm north of Gothenburg, NE. In my spare time I train horses for other and my for my own. I have one son named Brent. I joined OVS in March 2022 as a cattle processor.

Valerie Ludeke
I live with my family on a farm outside of Holdrege, NE. We raise cattle, horses, and goats. I enjoy helping with our family's 4-H and FFA projects. I have worked in the veterinary field for 15 years and truly enjoy working with all species. I joined OVS in February of 2021.

Caitlyn Comfort
I grew up in Colby, Kansas and my family later moved to Elwood, NE. I graduated from Elwood High School in 2019. I then attended McCook Community College in McCook, NE. I was on the MPCC rodeo team. In my free time I enjoy rodeoing and spending time with my family and friends. I joined the OVS team in January 2022.

Sarah Waltemath
I grew up in Elm Creek, NE. After graduation I attended school in West Virginia at Meredith Manor Equestrian Center and rode horses for a trainer in Texas. I returned to Nebraska and attended NCTA where I earned a degree in the Veterinary Technician program. Before joining OVS I worked at a mixed animal practice. My husband and I have three kids and we reside in Bertrand where I enjoy riding my horses and chasing my kids to all of their activities.

Makenzie Vapenik
I was born and raised in Lexington, NE. I graduated from NCTA with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2000. I worked as a Licensed Vet Tech in Hayes Center, NE prior to joining OVS in October of 2021. I love what I do and can't imagine doing anything else. I love working with cattle in all stages from newborn babies to mature cattle. I have a few cattle of my own along with 3 horses, 5 dogs, and 2 cats.

Savannah Beck
I grew up in Holdrege, NE and I went to NCTA for a Equine Health degree in the fall of 2018. In my spare time I enjoy team roping and spending time with my dog Gus. I started at OVS in March of 2022.

Cheyenne Wiedel
I grew up outside Elwood, NE where I gradated high school. Following high school I enrolled at Fort Hays State before attending NCTA, where I graduated with a Veterinary Technology degree. I worked at a mixed animal practice for 5 years before joining OVS in September 2020. I currently reside outside Holdrege, NE with my husband, Jordon, and my son Quade. We also have a yellow Lab named Riggin. In my spare time I enjoy playing softball and volleyball, being outside, and riding and training our cow horses.

Bernard Smith
I grew up in Elwood, NE. For over 30+ years I have worked at cow/calf or feedlot operations. My wife Kelly and I have a daughter named Brandi and two sons, Clint and Billie. I enjoy working on small engines in my spare time. As a family we like to hunt, fish and camp. I started at OVS in March of 2022.
